Welcome to Washington DC’s most iconic French Bistrot.

From France with Love…

It all started on Memorial Day in the year 2000. Yannis Felix and Michel Verdon opened the door of what would become an iconic French spot in the Nation’s capital. Two decades and a global pandemic later, Bistrot du Coin is still thriving, offering some of the most classic French recipes in the DMV area. Since Day 1, the motto has stayed the same, French, Fun, and Friendly.

In French, a “Bistrot” is a neighborhood restaurant where you can eat good food at a fair price. The typical color of a French Bistrot is pale yellow to brown (otherwise known as Bistre) because the walls used to get dirty quickly from nicotine.
